RCF Rides Together To Help Others

Too many people are touched by rare types of cancer — the patient, their friends, family and coworkers. That’s why 27 members of the Rapid Capital Funding (RCF) team took to their bike seats and peddled against cancer at Cycle for Survival’s signature event in Miami — a grueling, yet fun-filled four-hour indoor fundraising event.
They joined forces once again with Cycle for Survival to help raise money to fund innovative clinical trials, studies, and research initiatives. The RCF team, affectionately known as the Rapid Riders, raised money for research led by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, which benefits patients worldwide.
Through fundraising efforts, Rapid Riders raised $5,500 this year, bringing their total for Cycle for Survival to more than $10,000. Every dollar raised will go toward funding pioneering research.
“Rare cancers touch too many lives and hit too close to home,” Scott Kaplan, chief operating officer at RCF, said. “Together, we're united in this battle. Cycle for Survival is our way of making a difference.”
You, too, can make a difference by donating before April 1, 2016 to Cycle for Survival through RCF’s team page. All you have to do is click on the “Donate” button on the upper left of the page and follow the prompts.
